Ginger's Creek Ride - Saturday 16th January and Sunday 17th January 1999

RobT racer@bmr.com.au has prepared the info on a ride to Gingers Creek on the Oxley Highway. He says:
It sounds great .
Accomidation cost  $15-00 Can you beleive it.
Meals from $4-00
Bring your own grog or purchase from Licenced restaurant.
If we wish will do package accomidation, Meals Breakfast Packed lunch $50-
each
They have 2 double rooms. 1  x 6 Beds , 1 x 8 Beds. Total people can handle
18.

Some riders will undoubtfully travel back down the mountain just for the pleasure of traveling a beautiful stretch of road.

Once at Gringers Creek ( group maximum 18) will enjoy cottage type accommodation for the cost of $15-00 each and meals will be provide in the fully licensed Restaurant Cost $4- up to $25-00 for a Smorgasbord you can bring your own drink if you wish .

After a refreshing sleep, the group will wake up to the relaxing sounds of the native wildlife and fresh mountain air before enjoying breakfast.

The riders will able to choose if they wish to continue the loop to Aspey Falls Walcha, Novendoc, Gloucester. (11 K Dirt)

Or Back down the Oxley Highway to Wauchope and home down the highway .

Robert Tiedeman from the Hunter riders said that as numbers are limited to 18 because of the accommodation. Those wishing to make the trip should contact him beforehand and pay for the accommodation to enable final bookings to be made. RSVP 9 January 1999.

Gringers Creek News - 17 December 1998

The Hunter riders from the BMW Touring Club have confirmed that their inaugural ride has been arranged for the Weekend of the 16/17 January 1999. Riders of all bikes are welcome.

The riders will be leaving Raymond Terrace McDonalds at 9.30 AM Sharp in an effort to avoid the summer heat. Traveling via the Buckets way to Gloucester (100k) then turning right to towards Taree. Their first regrouping /morning Tea stop will be Krambach (140K) where the quicker riders can wait before traveling on to Wingham (171K) .

From Wingham the Tar Babies can travel to Taree and up the New England Highway to Wauchope (74K Trip).
