Also encourages the use of alternate routes around the detection points...
And its an interesting issue - who's to say that alternate routes are not
faster - there is no prima facie evidence of you actually "speeding" so who
is to say you did?

I'm concerned about the number of drivers who are now going to feel obliged
to stop at the pub for a couple of beers and to kill some time every 200kms
so they don't get booked for speeding!
